STBA, Sister's Together Brunch Association

HISTORY

This association was establish by Tracy V. Betts-Holland, one of the group of three women that decided life was too short to let their friendships go unconnected for months at a time. They all had busy schedules with work, school, church and family, which did not always allow them to enjoy each others time and friendship. That’s when they made an amazing decision that no matter what it took they would make it a point to meet once a month to do a sit-down breakfast, lunch or dinner, shop, go to the movies or just talk. This was their way of staying connected through social activities, to what has created the foundation and history of STBA women and men working together.

Ever since that first wonderful occasion in September of 2004, they have continued to meet once a month, and from that time forth they have invited others to join them in brunch adventures that eventually turned into a network of women discussing family, spiritual connections and how to become a leader or business entrepreneur. This later developed into a network of women who were already in business or those that were pursuing and some who needed to make personal connections. Ms. Betts-Holland's
ideas finally came together and created a wonderful association better known as the STBA, Sister's Together Brunch Association.

This network consists of 30 members strong and continues to expand daily. They have made it a point to network the voices of women and men into a growing business network of entrepreneurs on a move!

 OUR GOAL & MISSION

Our goal and mission is to network, promote and encourage unity among women and men, establish positive commitments and spiritual guidance. We support the visions of people getting started in a small business. We get involved in community activities, awareness and leadership programs towards spiritual growth. Because we are a membership association, we support and develop community programs that support all ages, encouraging young women 18 years and older to interact with our mission. We have insights on new business opportunities and have developed programs to help our communities. Through strong efforts, we have found a way to keep our same concepts that brought us together, incorporate new business ideas, and make connections while maintaining our friendships.

To support and build strong connections a determination along with dedication and commitment is necessary. Therefore, we believe that practicing this concept enables us to share our experiences and advice with others to help build healthy relationships, leadership and spiritual growth. Our focus is to maintain the visions of women and men who are entrepreneurs on a move!
